Co.Im.5 – Closing the Gap.
Our immune system has the task of distinguishing between the body's own cells and foreign, or often malignant cells. This is highly complex task for the immune system and sometimes – in rare cases – the tumor escapes the reactions of the immune reaction and a tumor is established in the patient’s body. Malignant cells are then not recognized as and do not lead to a reaction of the immune system fails under certain circumstances to attack malignant cells and a tumor is established.
Our scientifically established medical approach is based on helping the individual’s body to discriminate and identify the tumorous cells again as "foreign". This information is then presented to the immune system and thus generates an autologous and highly specific response. Thus the immune system can recognize the individual tumor pattern and stage a comprehensive and specific defense against the prepared, modified and presented cancer cells.
The starting point for this individual therapy is therefore always the patient's own tumor cells.
Co.Im.5 represents consequently a Comprehensive Immunotherapy, with so far excellent results. Observed side effects are considered uncritical are due to the stimulation of the patient’s own immune response to which the body is innately adapted.
The approval process starts in 2024.
